I told myself I’d write more this year. (Isn’t that always the way?) But I’m beginning to think that maybe I’m not as imaginative as the staff at that one sleepaway camp told me I was. Or maybe my brain is too preoccupied with the everyday management of my mostly mundane life to bother reaching beyond a shopping list and whether I need to go scoop the cat boxes (yes).
